Summary
I am a highly experienced consultant data analyst and programmer, with good team leadership and business skills. My work history demonstrates my adaptability and capability in various technology sectors, from AS400 and SAP through to internet development.
Recent emphasis on the migration of core business systems from legacy platforms has provided the opportunity to utilise my considerable business knowledge and experience with RPG, SQL, AS/400 and SAP. My experience with thin client technology, AS/400 , Dreamweaver and Javascript etc. provides companies with this understanding of the true commercial value of traditional technology systems coupled with web based development.
I can demonstrate considerable business awareness in the areas of sales, accounts, materials management, logistics and warehouse management systems, particularly in retail (Bosch, Harrods, Giltspur, Hasbro-Bradley). My understanding of the core business processes in these areas has resulted in measurable cost and efficiency gains in many of my engagements.
Whether leading a team or as part of a larger project organisation, my contributions in both technology and management skills provide significant benefits to the clients, evidenced by the number of repeat engagements over this varied career.
