In 2002 I returned to Robert Bosch to do their data migration from AS/400 to SAP using the SD module book to understand how sales and distribution worked and enabled me to successfully transfer three business divisions from AS/400 to the SD module. I become fully conversant with the relevant tables, plus pricing conditions,customer master data,material master data(MM Module) and other associated data for the data migration.
For data migration I used the SAP tool LSMW which allows you to transport data from an Excel spreadsheet to the relevant SAP table.
As a result of my experience at Robert Bosch I secured a contract at Boots in their data migration team.
